NAME
privacy-policy – what this site records and what it does not
WHAT IS COLLECTED
This site is run by one person, who can be reached at the address on the colophon.
Every request to this site is recorded by the web server, as on any website. A log entry includes your IP address, the time, and the page you asked for. These logs exist to keep the site running: to find errors and to recognise abuse. Visitor counts are produced from them on the server itself. They are kept only as long as the hosting platform keeps them, and are not archived, exported or held anywhere else.
If you write to the address on the colophon, your message and your email address are stored in that mailbox for as long as the correspondence is useful.
Two things are kept in your own browser, not on the server: whether the cabinet door has already been opened during this visit, and whether you switched the room lights on or off. Neither leaves your browser and neither is readable by this site.
That is all. There is no analytics script, no advertising, no embedded content from other sites, and no cookie for visitors. Nothing collected here is shared, sold, or used to build a profile.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In practice that will concern an email exchange or a log entry. Use the address on the colophon.
If you think your data is handled improperly, you can complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
